It contains bakery products, vegetable protein extracts, oils and fats, vegetable by-products, minerals, sugar, yeasts, organic acids, psyllium, mannan-oligosacharides, and lecithin. The analytical ingredients include 21% protein, 9% fat content, 8.50% crude ash, 1.50% crude fibre, and various minerals and vitamins. The food-water ratio changes with the age of the baby bird and must be carefully adapted. The manufacturer recommends weighing out precisely the required amounts for the first preparation. The ratio of water to powder depends on the age of the bird, from 1:6 for hatchling to day 2 to 1:2-2.5 for day 5 weaning and beyond. The mixture should be prepared fresh before every meal.
