The Dungeon Craft Board Game by 1985 Games is a versatile accessory for any tabletop role-playing game, especially Dungeons and Dragons. The tiles are not magnetic, but they are laminated and the friction keeps them from moving around too much. The terrain types include dungeon, city, and grasslands, and all of the pieces are wet and dry erase marker compatible. While the Cursed Lands Dungeon Craft module has many compatible buildings from the Curse of Strahd Campaign, it doesn't have Strahd's Castle and the temples inside. However, Realm's Edge has pages of individual walls that can be combined with the city map to create your own castle representation. The pieces are on sturdy cardstock, and every piece is laminated, so it keeps the quality intact. However, the downside is that every piece needs to be cut by hand, even the hundreds of tiny 2x2 pieces, which can be time-Consuming and unnecessary. Also, building tiles are oriented the opposite way when flipped, which is confusing, and the instructions on not cutting along thick black lines can be misleading. But overall, the product is worth the price and a perfect substitute for those who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars buying tiles. The artwork is awesome, and the majority of the building templates are unique. Plus, it enhances gameplay and makes it a true theater for the mind.
