Can this be used with the Ring doorbell as a wifi extender instead of buying the Pro Chime?
odpowiedź: Actually no it can't. This only extends the alarm signal which uses z-wave, totally separate to WiFi. -

odpowiedź: No, it does not. It recharges on USB or another model which is wired in like a doorbell. -

I have an outside camera on the back of the house that gets little or no signal. Will this booster increase the camera signal?
odpowiedź: No, it will not. The alarm uses z-wave, which is far more robust, but isn't capable of carrying large amounts of data. Your camera is probably WiFi, so the best solution would be an outdoor range extender. They're not expensive and generally easy to install. (An indoor one might do the job, if it's much closer to the camera.)
