If you're looking to replace a failed or old Uconnect unit or small stock audio player, this Scosche radio bezel kit is a good option. It's suitable for use with a double-DIN audio player with a screen face size of 6.2-6.8 inches. If you have a radio with an oversized screen, you may need to do some trimming inside the kit to make it fit, but this minor modification is a worthwhile effort. The kit is designed to accommodate standard single-DIN and 7 x 4 double-DIN aftermarket radios. The biggest complaint about the Scosche radio bezel kit is the button clearances being too tight. This design flaw results in the hazard button and the thermostat buttons getting stuck initially and requiring some tapping to loosen up. The gap around the volume/media buttons is not adequately filled in, decreasing the quality of the lighting. Additionally, the instructions are not well-documented, and the other reviewers make it seem like removing the volume buttons is some exhausting process, but it's not. Other issues with this kit include having to remove the a/c control from the factory panel, which is a frustrating and time-Consuming process, with the clips on the volume and tuner knobs having to be wallowed off to get the knobs out. The instructions are also incorrect, stating that the radio brackets should attach to the bezel rather than the radio, which can result in additional frustration. Overall, Scosche has produced a good product that fits well and is well-intentioned in its fit and finish. The minor design flaws and incorrect instructions can be dealt with via patience and common sense, and the end result is a good-looking and functional radio bezel kit that will make any Ram owner happy.
