odpowiedź: The hole is on the front side (long side) of the tube. It is an anti-siphon feature. When your return pump shuts off and the black tube is under water, the siphon will break since the hole lets air into the tube. -

The Innovative Marine Hydrofill Titanium ATO Auto Top Off - Acrylic Return Bracket is a useful addition to any aquarium. It is easy to use and can be clamped onto the long side of the tank and connected to your pump. The J-Tubing can be cut shorter as per your needs. The only requirement is that a check valve is required to prevent siphoning when installed below the water line. The product has an anti-siphon feature with a small hole on the front side of the tube. Unfortunately, they do not have a return of this type for bigger pipe sizes. Overall, it is an impressive product to have for an aquarium starter.
