The Timken 710648 Axle Shaft Seal is a retrofit to OEM GM. It will fit either side, but you need two of them if you plan on replacing both the driver and passenger sides. The seal is for the right front passenger side CV axle shaft seal, and it retro-fits with some type of year, make and model of the truck. It is not a transfer case seal. There were complaints of it leaking straight away. But most customers were happy with this replacement part, and it worked well for them. It has fixed driver-side front axle seal leaks and has prevented drips on garage floors.
