The Economy Diamond Sharpener is a simple and effective sharpening tool that's ideal for touching up blades like Xacto knives. It seems to be thicker with more diamond dust on it than similar products on the market. One user shared that they have compared it with other diamond hones and found EZE-LAP diamond hones to last much longer, however, it should be noted that this sharpener is not a diamond stone, so it won't last as long with heavy use. Another reviewer mentioned that the short sharpening plate means it takes more movements to sharpen a blade than other products. It's advised not to push too hard and to use finesse rather than force. A user revealed that these sharpeners wear out very fast with very little use.
