Reef sandals are undoubtedly an iconic footwear choice. However, the customer feedback tells a different story. Over the past few years, the quality of the product has plummeted, and this is not brushed aside by the customers. The texture on them is comfortable but holds dirt and looks dirty quite quickly, making them suitable for outdoor use only. The majority of customers recommend going up a size when ordering, as they are small. There is mixed feedback on grip, but they seem to stay on without any issue. Some customers suggest that the company was bought out in 2018 and since then, the quality dropped significantly, and the sizing and materials changed. However, on the bright side, Reef offers amazing customer service and forward-thinking, as they ship an additional sandal for free, but they only do so when purchasing from them (Soled), and they ship exclusively with DHL express.
