It has standard line level outputs, clean transparent preamps, and the USB out supports a 44.1kHz sampling rate. The mixer does not come with an amplified output stage. Users can connect a powered subwoofer through an active crossover such as the DBX 223. The mixer also allows users to record each channel separately, change the levels of each channel individually when recording to the PC, and route only two outputs in a DAW. Reviewers praise the ZED-14 for being solid, sturdy, versatile, and easy to use. The mixer has a nice and warm sound quality, plenty of routing possibilities, and is great for home recording studio and live rehearsals.
