The set comes with a tool roll and the bevel edged blades are made from durable Cr-V steel that is tempered to 60HRc. The chisels have wood handles for better grip and control while working. While the chisel backs are normally flat, some may need a little tuning-up before use for fine detail work. Customers have used these chisels for minor wood joinery, installation of furniture grade openings and inlay locations, notch-making or wood carving projects, and rough carpentry projects. The bevel angles of these chisels differ according to the task required. Though the set is made in China, quality assurance is performed in the U.S. Customers have generally enjoyed using these chisels as they sharpen quickly and hold their edges well. However, they do require sharpening, honing and polishing before use. The tool roll is functional but with rough craftsmanship, and the handles can feel too thick.
