The bowl holds heat well and has raised linear elevations in the inside bottom to help develop a lather. The handle, although knob type, is sealed so the water cannot get into it. It is a creamy white colour which is not too bright and not ivy, and it is relatively small in size. However, some reviewers found the bowl to be a bit too deep to comfortably lather a loaded brush against the bottom, and there is not too much room to move the brush around without hitting the sides. Some also found it a bit pricey for the size and weight, although others thought it was worth the price. Overall, this shaving bowl is a great addition to a wet shaver's toolkit and is perfect for creating the perfect lather.
