The EasyPro Pond Pump Pro-Tector is a 12" diameter product designed to protect pond pumps from debris. It is made for pumps that have a top or upward pointing discharge. Although, there are work arounds for pumps with side outlets, such as using an elbow fitting to send the water straight up. There is no hose connector, so theoretically any hose size will work. The product's dimensions may be too small for some pumps, with some customers finding it barely fits with a 1200 gph size pump attached with half of the filter. Overall, if the dimensions fit and the pump has a top or upward pointing discharge, the EasyPro Pond Pump Pro-Tector should work efficiently.
