Echelon Pedals AT1126 Editorial Review
Echelon SPD Compatible Pedals with Toe Cages are a great choice for those looking to upgrade their Echelon bike pedals. These pedals come with toe cages and clips for SPD compatible shoes, making it easy to switch between regular shoes and cycling shoes. The pedals have a plastic cage that can be used with normal shoes, allowing users to use the bike without the need for special shoes. The pedals come with nuts to attach them to the bike's crank, making installation easy. However, some customers did have difficulty installing the pedals due to incorrect wrench sizes or receiving two of the same wrench. Clipping in with SPD shoes can be difficult initially, but customers found that with time, it becomes easier. The locking nut for the bolt is of higher quality than the ones that come with the bike, making installation much easier. The weight of the pedals helps with maintaining momentum for spin bike users. The left pedal tends to squeak when first used, but it goes away after a few minutes of use. The cleats that come with the pedals may not work - it is recommended to purchase separate cleats. Overall, these pedals are a good purchase for those looking to upgrade their bike pedals.
