Alice In Chains' debut album "Facelift" is a solid representation of the grunge genre before it was even defined. The album is energetic and edgy, showcasing the band's raw talent. While not as mature as their later works, this album is fantastic and has no bad song on it. It's leaning towards the metal side of grunge and is definitely worth buying.
