The Peg Perego John Deere Gator XUV rear wheels are the perfect fit to replace old, cracked or worn tires. The installation process is easy, however, some customers mentioned that the wheels have no traction. One customer took an old bike tire, cut it to fit around the tire and put small screws in it to hold the rubber bike tire on the big wheel hard plastic making it work great. A few customers felt that it was a complete pain and hazardous that Peg-Perego does not include the yellow hubcaps with the wheel purchase anymore. However, you can obtain rear wheels as single items although one customer requested if just the rear left wheel is available. For those looking to increase the speed of the tractor for thick grass, adding a second 6 volt (or 12 volt) battery can be found through YouTube videos.
