The buoyancy of the ring is approximately 16.5 lbs and it has a hard outer shell. It does not come with long rope but has small ropes attached all around the life saver that can be grabbed. The ring itself is bright orange and does not have reflective material. It measures 24 inches in diameter excluding the tie for the ropes. Customers have reported that the ring is well Constructed and of high quality, suitable for their boats. Some have even personalized the buoy with vinyl letters. However, a few customers have found the size too big for their small boats, while others have noted that the color is not as bright orange as expected.
