Although it doesn't align perfectly with the Thunderbolt display, the small discrepancy is hard to notice, making it an ideal choice for a universal stand. The inner dimensions of the drawer are 7" by 4 1/4" by 7/8" tall, which is enough space to store a few pens or other small items. Even with the addition of the drawer, the mBase is still small enough to fit on most desks. One issue that some users have raised is the lack of an interlocking mechanism between two stands when stacked. However, this is a minor concern as most users only require one stand.
