The ATD 5164 Air Brake Service Tool Kit is a must-have for anyone working on air brakes that have slack adjusters. The kit includes two slack adjuster pullers and a brake clevis pin press; it works on manual and automatic slack adjusters and push-rod clevis pins used on brake systems of class 7 and 8 vehicles. The material used for the set remains unclear; however, customers have attested to the quality of the tool, and it seems to be durable. The tool can remove an automatic slack adjuster with or without a torch; just put anti-seize on tool threads before use. One customer reported that it took him all of 45 seconds to get a rusted and seized slack adjuster off. The tool-kit is of great value and has saved customers both time and money. It also comes with a nice case for easy storage and portability.
