The Bose SoundDock 10 is a powerful digital music system with a great sound output at high volume. However, customers should note that if they purchase the product in the US, they will need a transformer to convert 220V down to 110V for use outside the US/Canada. An adapter is not sufficient, and if plugged in without a transformer, the unit will be destroyed. Additionally, switching adapters between the 30-pin adapter and Bluetooth is not convenient. One customer who was also an audio technician estimated the unit's output capacity to be about 120-150W RMS. The remote control feature is convenient to use, and the sound quality is excellent.
