The DeLonghi oil-filled electric heater is highly recommended for safety standards but for someone who needs to save electricity and only uses the heater for the bedroom, the portable heater is adequate. It has an on and off switch so there is no temperature adjustment, but it heats up fast and gets hot enough for a small area like an office cubicle or bathroom. The fan mode is not noisy and can be ignored while working or reading, but it is not efficient enough to heat more than eight hundred cubic feet. It's not great for car camping either unless the car is plugged in to a campground power source. The heater is ideal for someone who wants a hassle-free heating option that is portable and easy to carry around.
