The product is well made with excellent haptic feedback from the controls, but the product description does not mention its limited functionality without the app. Overall, the Sphero R2-D2 App Controlled Droid is a great toy for the price with unbeatable sound, movement and app-features, provided the buyer is willing to spend the time to find the right app.
