Our SA-50 Controlled-Release Fertilizer 14-14-14 ensures an ideal level of nutrients for your plants, promoting healthy growth and lush foliage. What sets our fertilizer apart is its unique controlled-release technology.
Unlike other products that are affected by watering, our fertilizer releases nutrients based on soil temperature. As the soil warms, the release rate of each fertilize prill increases, providing your plants with the nutrients they need as they grow. And as the soil cools, the release rate decreases, preventing overfeeding. Versatile and easy to use, our Controlled Release 14-14-14 Fertilizer can be applied to a variety of plants, including potted plants, hanging baskets, flower beds, and vegetable gardens.
Simply mix 1/4 to 1/2 cups per cubic foot of soil for general soil applications. For bedding plants, use 3/4 to 1 cup per 10 square feet. And for pot culture, adjust the amount based on the pot size (4-inch - 1/2 teaspoon, 5-inch - 1 teaspoon, 6-inch - 1 1/2 teaspoons). Our fertilizer can be used in two ways - mix it thoroughly with the soil or apply it to the surface and mix it in up to 1 inch deep.
