This makeup mirror is lightweight and portable, making it perfect for travel, but it isn't detachable from the base. The FAQ states that the mirror is made of both acrylic and normal glass and doesn't come with tempered glass. The 10x magnification side is great for trimming eyebrows and nose hair, but not necessarily for shaving. Some buyers were disappointed with the advertised magnification and wished they had gone a size larger. However, others found it perfect for their needs and loved its practicality.
