Is the insulation sewn in, or is it removible?
Answer: The insulation is removable and leaves just the shell with a hard sole. The insulation removed is a low calf bootie. -

Is the shaft of the boot floppy or sturdy? will they protect your ankles?
Answer: The shaft is very sturdy,and will also protect your ankles. The boot is very warm and comfortable as well!!! -

It says that the inside liner is removable , if it is how do you remove it without destroying the inside of the boot?
Answer: The liner does remove,and it doesn’t destroy the boot. Simply put your hand to the bottom of the liner and lift up. The boot is very comfortable and warm!!! -
Question:
Is the tongue connected/sewn to the shoe all the way to the top? If not, how high up does it connect?
Answer: Yes, the tongue extends past the top of the upper by maybe an inch. The tongue is insulated and made of codura stating at the 2nd eyelet -as opposed to the leather used on the rest of the upper. -

Is the upper really leather like the description says or synthetic?

Are they really waterproof?! I’ve tried three different brands now that all leak standing in 6 inches of water.
Answer: I have had them for a couple of years now and they are still waterproof. But, I am very OCD when it comes to my gear. I've treated them very well. I've kept them clean and treated the leather. So I guess it's about how you treat them. -
